A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A NAME
CHANGE TO THE CITY'S CODE ENFORCEMENT SPECIAL
MAGISTRATE FROM EUGENE M. STEINFELD TO EUGENE M.
STEINFELD, P.A.; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on January 26, 2000, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac
("City") adopted Resolution No. 2000-32 appointing Eugene M. Steinfeld to serve as one
of the City's Code Enforcement Special Magistrates; and
WHEREAS, Eugene M. Steinfeld created a Florida Corporation by the name of
Eugene M. Steinfeld, P.A.; and,
WHEREAS, Eugene M. Steinfeld, has requested that the City approve a name
change and authorize the corporation, Eugene M. Steinfeld, P.A., rather than Eugene
M. Steinfeld personally to serve as Special Magistrate; and
WHEREAS, the name change will have no impact on the services performed and
Eugene M. Steinfeld will continue to perform all of his obligations as Code Enforcement
Special Magistrate; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interests of the citizens
and residents of the City to approve and authorize the name change as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

Section 1: The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
Section 2: The City Commission of the City of Tamarac hereby approves and
the name change of its Code Enforcement Special Magistrate from Eugene M.
Steinfeld, personally to Eugene M. Steinfeld, P.A., and authorizes Eugene M. Steinfeld,
P.A. to serve as a Code Enforcement Special Magistrate.
Section 3: That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4: That if any clause, section, or other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid,
in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or
applications of this Resolution.

Section 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
