CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-2014 -�
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, UPDATING OTHER
CHARGES FOR SERVICES INCIDENTAL TO THE
OPERATION OF THE CITY'S UTILITY SYSTEM;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac operates and maintains public water and
wastewater facilities that provide service to certain properties located in the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 22 of the City of Tamarac Code of ordinances authorizes
the establishment of rates incidental to the operation of the City's public utility system by
resolution after a duly noticed public hearing; and
WHEREAS, City staff has evaluated the rates for services incidental to the
operation of the City's ,public utility system and has determined that three rates or fees
should be adjusted to more accurately reflect the cost recovery for services and to
equalize rates for similar or same type services; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Services and Director of Financial Services
recommends that these adjustments be made; and

WHEREAS, appropriate notice pursuant to Section 180.136, F.S. was provided
through the utility bill process for one cycle stating the date, time and place of the
meeting for this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA THAT:
SECTION 1:
The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a = specific part of this
Resolution upon adoption hereof.
SECTION 2:
The rate schedule set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
made a part hereof, shall be applicable to all customers of the Water and Wastewater
Utility served by the City of Tamarac, effective March 26, 2014.
SECTION 3:
All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4:
If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution
is held by any court of
competent jurisdiction
to be unconstitutional or invalid,
in part or
application, it shall
not affect the validity
of the remaining portions or
applications of this Resolution.

This Resolution shall become effective on October 1, 2013.
