AN RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA APPOINTING
MICHAEL DELEMti
DIRECTORS OF
NEIGHBORHOOD
IA TO SERVE ON THE BOARD OF
THE WOODLANDS COMMUNITY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 14, 2010, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac,
Florida (the "City") adopted Ordinance No. 2010-14, thereby creating the Woodlands
Community Neighborhood Improvement District in accordance with Section 163.506,
F.S.; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance expressly provided for the appointment of a Board of
Directors; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission approved an ordinance allowing for future
appointments to the Woodlands Local Government Neighborhood Improvement District
Board of Directors by resolution on February 9, 2011; and
WHEREAS, in an effort to fill a current vacancy, the members of the Board of
Directors of the Woodlands Community Neighborhood Improvement District voted and
selected Michael DeLemma to be appointed to the Board of Directors (attached hereto
and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A"); and
WHEREAS, the City Commission seeks to appoint Michael DeLemma to the
Board of Directors of the Woodlands Community Neighborhood Improvement District;
and

WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that the appointment of Michael
DeLemma to the Board of Directors for the Woodlands Community Neighborhood
Improvement District is in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are HEREBY ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution upon adoption hereof; all exhibits referenced and attached hereto are
incorporated herein and made a specific part of this resolution.
SECTION 2:
That the appointment of Michael DeLemma to the Board of
Directors for the Woodlands Community Neighborhood Improvement District; is hereby
approved.
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part .or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective
passage and adoption.

Dear City of Tamarac Commissioners:
On August 15, 2013, the board members of the Woodlands Neighborhood Improvement
District (WNID) interviewed and voted to have Michael DeLemma join as a Board
Member. We recommend that the City Commission appoint Mr. DeLemma to our WNID
Board.
Also, we need to update our WNID Board members for the State of Florida:
William R. Scott: Chairman
Ed Brown: Vice Chairman
Toni Gelman: Treasurer
Lawrence Torn
Joel Davidson
