A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING A REFUND OF $2,218.36
SUBMITTED BY SANDRA BRENNAN OF TIDAN
PLAZA, LIMITED DESIGNATED AGENT FOR
TIDAN PLAZA LIMITED/JACK SOFER, FOR A
LIMITED PARKING WAIVER APPLICATION FEE,
COLLECTED FOR THE REBOUNDERZ
PROJECT (CASE NO. 19-MI-11); PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on August 8, 2011 Sandra Brennan, of Tidan Plaza Limited, Designated
Agent for the property owner Tidan Plaza Limited/Jack Sofer, submitted a Limited Parking
Waiver development application to the Community Development Department with a check
in the amount of $2,500.00 for the Rebounderz Family Center project; and
WHEREAS, after the submittal of the Limited Parking Waiver application and the
submittal of the revised justification letter, (attached hereto as a part of Exhibit "'I",
incorporated herein and made a specific part thereof) the Community Development
Department staff later determined that this application was not needed for the project; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department staff has determined that the
Limited Parking Waiver application fee of $2,500.00 submitted by Sandra Brennan of Tidan
Plaza, Limited, Designated Agent for the property owner Tidan Plaza Limited/Jack Safer,
should be refunded (less minimal staff and consultant research time, which equates to
$281.64) as minimal resources were used to process this application; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development recommends approval of the
application fee refund; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to authorize a refund
in the amount of $2,218.36 submitted by Sandra Brennan of Tidan Plaza, Limited,
Designated Agent for the property owner Tidan Plaza Limited/Jack Sofer, for the Limited
Parking Waiver application fee, collected for the Rebounderz Family Center project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution;
all exhibits attached hereto are incorporated herein and made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Commission hereby authorizes the appropriate
City Officials to refund the Limited Parking Waiver application fee for the Rebounderz
Family Center project in the amount of $2,218.36 made payable to Tidan Plaza Limited
4060 Galt Ocean Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308.
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in
part or in application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications
of this Resolution.

SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.

Dear Department of Community Development,
We are writing this letter requesting a refund for the Parking Waiver that we no longer need for
Rebounderz, which will only occupy 17,500 sq. ft. (as opposed to the originally stated 18,000 -
20,000 sq ft.) located at 7501 N. W. 57t' St, Tamarac. Due to the right of usage, we have 175
parking spaces available.
