CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING MARC SULTANOF TO
THE CITY OF TAMARAC VETERAN'S AFFAIRS COMMITTEE;
APPOINTING MARC SULTANOF AS THE LIAISON TO THE
CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE VETERAN'S
AFFAIRS COMMITTEE; DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO TAKE
ANY AND ALL ACTION NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE
INTENT OF THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT;
PROVIDING FOR SERVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission established the Veteran's Affairs
Committee as provided in Section 2-223 of the City of Tamarac Code of
Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Veteran's Affairs Committee consists of eight or more
member appointed annually by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, Marc Sultanof, most recently was a City Commissioner for the
City of Tamarac and served honorably and with distinction on behalf of the
residents of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to appoint Marc Sultanof to the
Veteran's Affairs Committee and to have him serve as a Liaison to the City
Commission on behalf of the Veteran's Affairs Committee; and

WHEREAS, The City Commission deems it to be in the best interest of the
health, safety and welfare of the citizens and residents of the City to appoint Marc
Sultanof to the City's Veteran's Affairs Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, THAT:
SECTION 1. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as true and correct and incorporated and hereby made a specific part of
this Resolution.
SECTION 2. The City of Commission, City of Tamarac, Florida, hereby
appoints Marc Sultanof as a member of the City of Tamarac, Veteran's Affairs
Committee. In addition, the City Commission specifically designates Marc
Sultanof as the liaison for the Veteran's Affairs Committee to the City Commission.
SECTION 3. The City Staff is hereby directed to take any and all action
necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution.
SECTION 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be, in
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5. If any clause, section or other part or application this
resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part of application, it shall not effect the validity of the remaining portions
or applications of this resolution.
