RESOLUTION NO. R-2006-I U3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO ACCEPT A CONVEYANCE OF
REAL PROPERTY, LANDS COMMONLY KNOWN
AS PARCEL A PORTION OF PARCEL "A" OF
THE "BRUCE PLAT", ACCORDING TO THE
PLAT THEREOF AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK
135, PAGE 11 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO SECURE
LAND TO FACILITATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF
A CITY PARK (CASE NO. 11 -MI-06); PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Tamarac, Florida, wishes to secure land to facilitate the
development of a City park; and
WHEREAS, Prestige Homes of Tamarac, Inc. has agreed to convey real property,
lands commonly known as a Portion of Parcel "A" of the "Bruce Plat" (attached hereto as
Exhibit 1 ") to facilitate the development of a City park to be known as University Landings
Park; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to accept a
conveyance of real property from Bruce Chait, President of Prestige Homes of Tamarac,
Inc., to secure land to facilitate the development of a City park (attached hereto as Exhibit

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Commission hereby approves the conveyance of
real property from Bruce Chait, President of Prestige Homes of Tamarac, Inc. to secure
land to facilitate the development of a City park.
SECTION 3: That the appropriate City Officials of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, are hereby authorized to accept such conveyance and dedication from Bruce Chait
and authorizes the appropriate City Officials to execute any documents necessary to
finalize the conveyance and dedication.
SECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or in
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.

33065, hereinafter called Grantor, to CITY OF TAMARAC, a Florida municipal corporation, whose post office
address is 7525 N.W. 88th Avenue, Tamarac, FL 33321, hereinafter called Grantees.
WITNESSETH:
That Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars (S 10.00) and other good and valuable consideration
to Grantors in hand paid by Grantee, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold
to the Grantee, and Grantee's heirs and assigns forever, to have and hold, the following land situated in Broward
County, Florida:
