CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R2006-. 41--)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING SIGNATURES FOR BANK ACCOUNTS AT
WACHOVIA BANK, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City's current depository is Wachovia Bank, National Association;
WHEREAS, Wachovia Bank, National Association requires authorized signatures to
accept and process checks issued by the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.09 of the Tamarac Charter entitled, "Signatures to Bonds,
Checks, Contracts, etc.," states that "All bonds and checks shall be signed by the Mayor
and City Manager."; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, deems it to be in the best
interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to authorize signatures for
bank accounts at Wachovia Bank, National Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That Wachovia Bank, National Association is hereby directed to
accept the facsimile signature of the following officials: Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco, Mayor
and Jeffrey L. Miller, City Manager for the following accounts: Concentration Account,
Accounts Payable, Payroll, Compensating Balance Account and Utility Account.

SECTION 3: In the event the facsimile signature is not available, the bank is hereby
directed to accept any two (2) of the following written signatures: Beth Flansbaum-
Talabisco, Mayor or Edward C. Portner, Vice Mayor, and Jeffrey L. Miller, City Manager or
Michael C. Cernech, Deputy City Manager, or Steven Chapman II, Director of Financial
Services, or William L. Nealon, Jr., Controller, or Christopher Sammartino, Management
and Budget Officer.
SECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or
applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
