CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R2002-182
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING SEVEN (7) MEMBERS TO
THE AMBULANCE COMMITTEE TO SERVE ONE-YEAR TERMS
EXPIRING JUNE 24, 2003; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing seven (7)
members to the Ambulance Committee to serve one-year terms expiring June
24, 2003; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 2-233 and 2-234 of the Tamarac
Code (attached as Exhibit A) the Ambulance Committee shall consist of seven
(7) members who shall be appointed by the City Commission on an annual basis;
and
WHEREAS, the Fire Chief and City Manager recommend approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to appoint
seven (7) members to the Ambulance Committee to serve one-year terms
expiring June 24, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified
and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of
this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That pursuant to Sections 2-233 and 2-234 of the Tamarac
Code, the following people are hereby appointed as members of the Ambulance
Committee to serve one-year terms expiring June 24, 2003, or until such time as
reappointments are made:
Seymour A. Bauer
Nathan Feder
J. Leilani Kicklighter
Yvette Stephenson
Bert Buckley
Murray H. lobco
Marvin Seidel
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions or applications of this Resolution.

SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
