R2002---?0-3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF A TEMPORARY MODEL_ SALES PERMIT FOR A SIX MONTH PERIOD ENDING APRIL 24, 2003, FOR THE CATALINA LAKES TOWNHOME DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF NOB HILL ROAD AND NW 80 STREET; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Article VI of Chapter 24 of the City Code provides for approval of temporary use model, sales and administrative facilities; and WHEREAS, United Homes International, Inc. requested the model Sales Permit for a twenty-four foot (24') wide by sixty foot (60') long sales trailer and model sales building consisting of eight (8) townhouse units for a temporary model and sales area to be located directly convenient to NW 80 Street, which request was approved by the City Commission on April 24, 2002 for a period of six months (a copy of Resolution R2002-109 is attached as exhibit "A"); and WHEREAS, United Homes International has paid the required $200.00 fee for the six month extension; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to grant a six month extension of this model sales permit. Reso. #9949 Page 2 October 14, 2002 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA- SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution. SECTION 2: That the City Commission hereby approves the extension of the model sales permit for the Catalina Lakes Townhome Development located at the southwest corner of Nob Hill Road and NW 80 Street for a six month period from October 24, 2002 to April 24, 2003. SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
