RESOLUTION NO. R-2002- 3 �F
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
GRANTING A MODEL SALES PERMIT FOR A
SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD FOR THE CATALINA
PLACE TOWNHOME DEVELOPMENT
LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
NW 64T" STREET AND NW 74T" AVENUE
(CASE NO. 2-MS-02); PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Article VI of Chapter 24 of the City Code provides for approval of
temporary use model, sales and administrative facilities; and
WHEREAS, United Homes International, Inc. has requested the Model Sales Permit
for a sales trailer building, parking lot and landscaping with access from NW 64th Street;
and
WHEREAS, United Homes International, Inc. has paid the permit fees for a Model
Sales area to be located at the northwest corner of NW 64th Street and NW 74th Avenue
for the Catalina Place townhome development; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development recommends approval of this
model sales permit; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board recommended approval on November 20, 2002;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to grant this model

sales permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA-
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Commission hereby approves the model sales
permit for the Catalina Place townhome development located at the northwest corner of
NW 64th Street and NW 741t' Avenue for a six (6) month period from December 11, 2002 to
June 11, 2003.
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this

This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
