CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-99- / 3 T
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPROVING A REQUEST FROM
THE TAMARAC YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE TO REFUND
BUILDING PERMIT FEES AND OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE
FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,030.00 FOR A CARNIVAL
SPONSORED BY THEM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABLILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Manager's Office has received a request from the Tamarac
Youth Football League to waive all permit fees and Occupational License Fees for their
carnival; and
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Youth Football League is a non-profit organization and
requests refunds of $1,295.00 for the Building Permit Fees (201.00), Occupational
License Fees ($829.00), and water fees ($265); and
WHEREAS, the Assistant City Manager recommends the refund of $1,030.00 for
the Building Permit Fees ($201.00) and Occupational License Fees ($829.00) but, not
the water fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be
in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to refund
$1,030.00 in Building Permit Fees and Occupational License Fees.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the request to refund $1,030.00 in Building Permit Fees and
Occupational License Fees, for the following event: A carnival sponsored by the
Tamarac Youth Football League, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
