R-99-162 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING TWO (2) REGULAR MEMBERS TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD FOR A THREE (3) YEAR TERM AND TWO (2) REGULAR MEMBERS TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD TO FILL UNEXPIRED TERMS FOR ONE (1) YEAR; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing two (2) regular members to the Code Enforcement Board for a three (3) year term and two (2) regular members to the Code Enforcement Board to fill unexpired terms for one (1) year; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Community Development Director recommend approval; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to appoint members to the Code Enforcement Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: The foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution. 1 J �l Page 2 Temp. Reso. #8658 06/23/99 SECTION 2: That pursuant to Section 162.05, F.S., the following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as members of the Code Enforcement Board for terms beginning June 25, 1999 and expiring June 25, 2002: George Katz Burton N. Scholl SECTION 31 That pursuant to Section 162.05, F.S., the following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as members of the Code Enforcement Board to fill unexpired terms beginning June 25, 1999 and expiring June 25, 2000: Robyn Rubin Sidney Weisburd SECTION 4: That pursuant to Section 162.05(4), F.S., the members of the Code Enforcement Board shall elect a Chairperson, who shall be a voting member, from among the members of the board. SECTION 4: All Resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution. fl 1 Page 3 Temp.
