CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-99 -3_qy
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING FEES
FOR THE USE OF ATHLETIC FACILITIES IN THE CITY
OF TAMARAC; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Parks & Recreation does not have a fee schedule
for the use of athletic facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department has received
numerous requests from individuals and groups wishing to use athletic facilities in
the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department wishes to
establish a fee schedule to cover the cost of using athletic facilities by any individual
or group, excluding Tamarac Athletic Federation affiliated groups; and
WHEREAS, City Code Sections 15-61 though 15-65 delineate the permitting
process for such use, including the establishment of fees by the City Commission;
and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Parks and Recreation Director
that fees be established for use of athletic facilities in the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it to
be in the best interest of the City of Tamarac to establish fees for use of athletic
facilities in the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2: Upon adoption the appropriate City Officials are hereby
authorized to collect fees for the use of athletic facilities.
SECTION 3: That the fees listed below shall be charged for use of athletic
facilities within the City of Tamarac:
Baseball/Softball -
Without lights
With lights
Each field preparation
Football - Without lights
With lights
Each field preparation
Soccer- Without lights
With lights
Each field preparation
Hockey -
Without lights
With lights

SECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part
or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications
of this Resolution.
SECTION 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
