RESOLUTION NO. R-99- 3 c/(o
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
ANNUAL BUDGET OF ESTIMATED REVENUES AND
EXPENDITURES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2000
PURCHASE OF A STREET SWEEPER THROUGH A
LEASE -PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH SUNTRUST
BANK, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission on the 24th day of November, 1999
adopted Resolution No. R-99-318 approving the lease -purchase contract with
SunTrust Bank, N.A. in the amount of $152,000 for the purchase of a street
sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of these funds requires the amending of
estimated revenues and expenditures with the Stormwater Management Fund
161 budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended these amendments to
the Fiscal Year 2000 budget to properly account for air budgetary actions related
to the lease -purchase of the street sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it
to be in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to

amend the FY 00 Budget to address the actions needed to implement the lease -
purchase of the street sweeper.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby
ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific
part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: The budget of the City of Tamarac is hereby
amended, in accordance with the Street Sweeper Lease -Purchase Document
(attached as Exhibit A) and all necessary budgetary transfers of funds are hereby
approved.
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parks of resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions or applications of this Resolution.

SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
