CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-99- _j g
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING CITY OFFICIALS
TO APPROVE A REQUEST FROM BROWARD BEAUTIFUL
TO JOIN IN THE UPCOMING GREAT FLORIDA CLEAN-UP
APRIL 17, 1999, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City
Commission of the City
of Tamarac,
Florida supports
Broward Beautiful's request
in joining the statewide
effort for the
upcoming Great
Florida Clean -Up on April 17; and
WHEREAS, the passing of this resolution to support Broward Beautiful in the
Broward Beautiful Great Florida Clean -Up Program will benefit the citizens and
residents of the City of Tamarac as well as the residents of Broward County as a whole;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac publicly supports the passage of this resolution
to have the City of Tamarac participate in the Broward Beautiful Great Florida Clean -Up;
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be
in the best interest of the residents and citizens of the City of Tamarac to support
Broward Beautiful in this statewide clean-up program.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2: The City of Tamarac, Florida, recommends passing this resolution
in support of Broward Beautiful's clean—up program in Broward County and the
surrounding communities, including the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
