CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-98-258
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING ONE
REGULAR MEMBER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
TO FULFILL AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING APRIL 15,
2000; APPOINTING THREE (3) REGULAR MEMBERS TO
THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THREE-YEAR TERMS
TO EXPIRE APRIL 15, 2001; AND APPOINTING TWO (2)
ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION FOR ONE-YEAR TERMS ENDING APRIL 15,
1999; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND -PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing four (4) regular
members and two (2) alternate members to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Community Development Director recommend
approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to appoint members
to the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing AWHEREAS- clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this
Resolution.

SECTION 2: That pursuant to Section 24-61 of the Code, the following person is
HEREBY APPOINTED as a regular member of the Planning Commission to fulfill the
unexpired term ending April 15, 2000, effective May 31, 1998:
Milton Meyer
SECTION 3: That pursuant to Section 24-61 of the Code, the following persons
are HEREBY APPOINTED as regular members of the Planning Commission for three-
year terms to expire April 15, 2001:
Stanley Budnick Alfred Robbins
Dr. Alfred Wald.

SECTION 4: That the following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as alternate
members of the Planning Commission for one-year terms to expire April 15, 1999:
Michael S. McCampbell Bruce Hoffman
SECTION 5: All Resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 6: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.

SECTION 7: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
