CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-98- -:S�20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPROVING A
REQUEST FROM TAMARAC CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE TO WAIVE ALL PERMIT FEES FOR
THEIR CARNIVAL; PROVIDING FOR CONDITIONS OF
APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Building Department has received a request from Tamarac
Chamber of Commerce to waive all permit fees for their carnival (attached as Exhibit A);
and
WHEREAS, Tamarac Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organization and
requests waiver of all permit fees; and
WHEREAS, the Building Official recommends approval of the request to waive all
permit fees; and
WHEREAS, the request from Tamarac Chamber of Commerce to waive all permit
fees is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens
and residents of the City of Tamarac to approve this request for waiver of all permit fees.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the request for waiver of all permit fees, attached hereto as
Exhibit A, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
