RESOLUTION NO. R-96-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA;
REQUESTED BY WOODMONT COUNTRY
CLUB FOR A LIMITED HEIGHT WAIVER FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF ONE -THOUSAND
TWO -HUNDRED THIRTY (1,230) LINEAL
FEET OF SIX FOOT (6') HIGH CHAINLINK
FENCE, LOCATED BETWEEN A PORTION
OF "LAND SECTION 4 GOLF COURSE
PLAT", ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK
88, PAGE 20, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA; AND
"CYPRESS THREE AT WOODMONT";
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Woodmont Country Club has requested a waiver from Code Section
24-633 ; and
WHEREAS, Woodmont Country Club has requested approval for a limited height
waiver for the installation of one -thousand two -hundred thirty (1,230) lineal feet of six foot
(6) high chainlink fence; and
WHEREAS, approval of this fence waiver is for security purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval on May 1, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development recommends approval; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to approve the
recommendation of the limited height waiver for the Woodmont Country Club.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION_1: That the height waiver to Code Section 24-633 requested by
Woodmont Country Club for a limited height waiver for the installation of one -thousand two -
hundred thirty (1,230) lineal feet of six foot (6) high chainlink fence located between a
portion of "Land Section 4 Golf Course Plat", according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in
Plat Book 88, Page 20, of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida; and "Cypress
Three at Woodmont", is HEREBY APPROVED.
SEQTION 2: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
-ECTION_1- If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.

passage and adoption.
