CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-96-/�/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING A CITY
COMMISSIONER TO REPRESENT DISTRICT 4 TO
COMPLETE THE TERM EXPIRING MARCH 18, 1997,
PURSUANT TO SECTION 4.05(c) OF THE CHARTER;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing a City Commissioner
to represent District 4 to complete the term expiring March 18, 1997, pursuant to
Section 4.05(c) of the Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTIQN 1_ The foregoing "WHEREAS" clause is hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
5ECTIQN 2: That pursuant to Section 4.05(c) of the Charter, Bruce Hoffman is
HEREBY APPOINTED as City Commissioner to represent District 4 to complete the
term expiring March 18, 1997.
SEQTIQN : All Resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 4s If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 26th day of June, 1996.
