RESOLUTION NO. R-96- � 5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF THE
TEMPORARY MODEL SALES PERMIT FOR A
SIX-MONTH PERIOD AND THE RELOCATION
OF THE MODEL SALES OFFICE AND MODEL
HOMES TO LOTS 40, 41 AND 42 OF THE
BROOKSIDE COVE SUBDIVISION LOCATED
ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF MCNAB ROAD
AND NW 70 AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND P
WHEREAS, Article VI of Chapter 24 of the City Code provides for approval of temporary
use model, sales and administrative facilities; and
WHEREAS, the temporary model sales permit for the Brookside Cove project located
on the Northeast side of McNab Road and NW 70 Avenue have paid their fees; and
WHEREAS, Gemstar Homes, Inc. is requesting the relocation of the Model Sales Office
and Model Homes to Lots 40, 41 and 42 of the Brookside Cove Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development has recommended approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the
best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to grant this extension for the
temporary model sales permit and grant approval of the relocation of the Model Sales Office
and Model Homes to Lots 40, 41 and 42 of the Brookside Cove Subdivision.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTIObJ 2: That the City Commission hereby approves the extension of the
temporary model sales permit for the Brookside Cove Subdivision located on the Northeast side
of McNab Road and NW 70 Avenue for a six-month period from February 23, 1996 to August
23, 1996.
SECTION 3: That the relocation of the Model Sales Office and the Model
Homes to Lots 40, 41 and 42 of the Brookside Cove Subdivision is hereby approved
SECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
