R-96-�7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPROVING A WAIVER TO THE SIGN CODE ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY GLORIA PEGRAM OF BENGIS SIGNS, INC. FOR A CHANGE OF COPY TO AN EXISTING MONUMENT SIGN FOR C&H GRILLE LOCATED AT 3915 W. COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD WITH A TOTAL OF FOUR COLORS WITHOUT U.S. REGISTRATION; PROVIDING FOR CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Gloria Pegram of Bengis Signs, Inc. has requested a waiver from Code Chapter 18 governing signs for a change of copy to an existing monument sign for C&H Grille located at 3915 W. Commercial Boulevard with a total of four colors without a U.S. registration; and WHEREAS, the Building Official, reviewed said waiver and recommends approval for the change of copy to an existing monument sign with a total of four colors without a U.S. registration; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida has the authority pursuant to the Code Section 18-42 to grant waivers; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to grant this waiver. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Resolution. SECTION 2: That the waiver to the Sign Code Chapter 18 requested by Gloria Pegram of Bengis Signs, Inc. for a change of copy to an existing monument sign with a total of four colors without a U.S. registration; is HEREBY APPROVED. 1 C Temp. Reso. #7584 Page 2 10/8/96 SECTION 3: Conditions of approval: SECTION 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
