CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-96-'76 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED
FROM BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA OF COUNTY -
OWNED PROPERTY, LOCATED IN TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
ACQUIRED BY THE COUNTY BY VIRTUE OF THE
PROPERTY BEING DELINQUENT AD VALOREM TAX
PAYMENTS LANDS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVER -ABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, properties legally described as:
1. Tax Deed #11725: Property I.D. #9113-11-239; MAINLANDS
OF TAMARAC LAKES; SEC 5 A 67-4 B; PARCEL E
2. Tax Deed #11726: Property I.D. #91 *14-10-124;
WOODLANDS SEC EIGHT; 67-42 B; TRACT G-26
3. Tax Deed #11723: Property I.D. #9110-08-003; BANK OF
TAMARAC 82-7 B; BEG SE COR OF PAR A, NLY 100; WLY
67 TO POB, NLY 104, WLY 11, SLY 104, ELY 11 TO POB,
LESS BEG SE COR OF PARCEL A, NLY 100, WLY 67, NLY
1.05 to POB, WLY 3.32, NLY 11.88, WLY 3.00, NLY 31.25,
ELY 5.53, SLY TO POB
located in the City of Tamarac, Florida have escheated to Broward County, Florida as a
result of delinquent ad valorem tax payments; and
WHEREAS, Fla. Stat. §197.592, requires land acquired by a county for delinquent

ad valorem tax payments to be conveyed to the municipality in which it is located, free of
any liens of record; and
WHEREAS, Broward County, Florida has recorded a Quit Claim Deed for the
transfer of the above described property to the City of Tamarac, Florida, a copy of the
recorded Quit Claim Deed is attached hereto as EXHIBIT A; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to accept the Quit
Claim Deed from Broward County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Commission hereby accepts the Quit Claim Deed of the
properties legally described as:
1. Tax Deed #11725: Property I.D. #9113-11-239; MAINLANDS
OF TAMARAC LAKES; SEC 5 A 67-4 B; PARCEL E
2. Tax Deed #11726: Property I.D. #9114-10-124;
WOODLANDS SEC EIGHT; 67-42 B; TRACT G-26
3. Tax Deed #11723: Property I.D. #9110-08-003; BANK OF
TAMARAC 82-7 B; BEG SE COR OF PAR A, NLY 100; WLY
67 TO POB, NLY 104, WLY 11, SLY 104, ELY 11 TO POB,
LESS BEG SE COR OF PARCEL A, NLY 100, WLY 67, NLY

SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by an court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.

COUNTY, a political subdivision of the state of Florida, 115 S. Andrews•Avenue,
Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301, and the CITY OF TAMARAC, a municipal corporation,
authorized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, whose post office
address is: 7525 N.W. 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida 33321-2401.
That BROWARD COUNTY for and in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS & 00/100
($10.00) to it in hand paid by the CITY OF TAMARAC, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold to the CITY OF TAMARAC, the
following described lands, lying and being in Broward County, Florida, to -wit:
Property I.D. #'s and legal descriptions attached
hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A".
SUBJECT TO ALL EXI5TIN6 PUBLIC PURPOSE UTILITY & GOVERNMENT EASEMENTS AND RIGHT
OF WAYS.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, BROWARD COUNTY, has caused these presents to be
executed in its name by its Board of County Commissioners acting by the Chair or
Vice -Chair of said Board, the day and year aforesaid.
