CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-95--z-/4/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING SIGNATURES FOR BANK
ACCOUNTS AT FIRST UNION NATIONAL
BANK PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, at its April 28, 1995 meeting, approved changing
the City's depository from Sunbank/South Florida, N.A. to First Union National Bank; and
WHEREAS, First Union National Bank requires that a resolution be passed that sets
forth the names of any individuals authorized to sign checks issued by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to direct First Union
National Bank to accept authorized signatures on checks issued by the City of Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: First Union National Bank is hereby authorized to accept the
facsimile signatures of the Mayor and City Manager for the City of Tamarac's concentration
and zero balance accounts.

SECTION 3: In the event the fascimile signatures are not available, the bank
is hereby directed to accept any two (2) of the following written signatures:
Mayor or Vice -Mayor
and
City Manager or Assistant City Manager
SECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 6:
