TO THE SIGN CODE ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY
LENNAR HOMES TO ERECT A TEMPORARY SIG

WHEREAS, Lennar Homes, has requested a waiver from Code Chapter 18 governing
signs to erect a temporary sign at the center of Tract 9 located on the west of N.W. 108th
Terrace adjacent to the Sawgrass Expressway, with five lines of copy, with a height of 21 ft.
and with a sign area of 160 sq. ft.
WHEREAS, the Building Official, reviewed said waiver and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida has the authority
pursuant to the Code Section 18-42 to grant waivers; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the
best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to grant this waiver.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the waiver to the Sign Code Chapter 18 requested by Lennar
Homes governing signs to erect a temporary sign at the center of Tract 9 located on the west
of N.W. 108th Terrace adjacent to the Sawgrass Expressway, with five lines of copy, with a
height of 21 ft. and with a sign area of 160 sq. ft. is HEREBY APPROVED.

SECTION 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SSE -JIQN 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
