CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-95- w�Z,
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF
PLUMBING INSPECTOR TO ATTEND THE WINTER
MEETING OF THE FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF PLUMBING,
GAS & MECHANICAL INSPECTORS; PROVIDNG FOR
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Florida Association of Plumbing, Gas & Mechanical Inspectors (FAPGMI)
is the national organization that provides education for plumbing, and mechanical inspectors
through its national Winter Meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Conference and Directors Meeting is in Clearwater on February 3 to
February 4, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Plumbing Inspector, Fred Hoffman a recently elected Director of the
FAPGMI has requested permission to attend at a total cost estimated to be $321.28; and
WHEREAS, it is important that the City employees in the field of plumbing attend and
especially as office holders in their respective organizations; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that Mr. Hoffman be permitted
to attend.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Resolution.

SECTIQN 2: That the recommendation of the City Manager is hereby approved.
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application,
it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
