A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INCREASE OF
$32,079.00 TO ACCOUNT 142-888-572-63A ENTITLED
"DRIVEWAY, PARKING, ETC, TRACT 27" WITH FUNDING
FROM THE PARK AND RECREATION IMPACT FEE FUND
BALANCE AND THE AWARD OF BID NUMBER 95-14
ENTITLED "TRACT 27 SPORTS COMPLEX DRIVEWAY AND
PAVING OVERLAY" TO THE LOW BIDDER, COMMUNITY
ASPHALT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Bid number 95-14 was issued to obtain competitive pricing for the
resurfacing of a driveway and parking lot located at Tract 27; and
WHEREAS, Community Asphalt submitted the low bid of $32,079.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission approved the Tract 27 project at a Commission
Workshop on June 5, 1995; and
WHEREAS, account 142-888-572-63A entitled "Driveway, Parking, Etc., Tract 27";
will be increased by $32,079.00 with funding from Park and Recreation Impact Fee Fund
Balance; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac, Florida to award Bid
number 95-14 entitled "Tract 27 Sports Complex Driveway and Paving Overlay" to
Community Asphalt.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
Section 2 The Appropriate City Officials are HEREBY AUTHORIZED to approve
an increase of 132,079.10 to account 142-888-572-63A a Parks and Recreation, Capital
Improvement account entitled "Driveway, Parking etc. Tract 27" from Park and Recreation
Impact Fee Fund Balance.

Section 3: The award of bid number 95-14 to Community Asphalt IS HEREBY
APPROVED.
Section4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application,
it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
Section 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
