CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-95-_c�5c-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA,
APPROVING A MODEL SALES PERMIT FOR
THE POINTE VILLAS PROJECT LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF NW 77 STREET
BETWEEN NOB HILL ROAD AND NW 96
AVENUE FOR A SIX-MONTH PERIOD;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE,
WHEREAS, Article VI of Chapter 24 of the City Code provides for approval of temporary
use model, sales and administrative facilities; and
WHEREAS, the model sales permit for the Pointe Villas project located on the South
side of NW 77 Street between Nab Hill Road and NW 96 Avenue have paid their fees; and
WHEREAS, Weintraub Development, Inc. has requested a waiver of a 150-foot distance
separation for a model sales center; and
WHEREAS, Weintraub Development, Inc. is requesting the waivers due to the potential
hardship of not being able to occupy sold units; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in the
best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to grant this model sales
permit.
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development has recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY

OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SEQIION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Commission hereby approves the model sales permit
for the Pointe Villas project located on the South side of NW 77 Street between Nob Hill Road
and NW 96 Avenue for a six-month period from November 8, 1995 to May 8, 1996.
SECTION 3: That the waiver of the 150 foot distance separation from units with
certificates of occupancy is hereby approved.
_,ECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 6:
