RESOLUTION NO. R 95- 427
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE WORK
ORDER NO. 2 TO BECOME PART OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH CARR SMITH ASSOCIATES, (APPROVED UNDER
RESOLUTION NO. R-94-89 ON MAY 25, 1994), TO
PROVIDE ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE EAST -
WEST CONNECTOR ROAD (NW 67TH STREET) FROM
NOB HILL ROAD TO PROPOSED HIATUS ROAD IN LAND
SECTION 7, AND APPROVE A BUDGET TRANSFER OF
$47,453 FROM TRAFFICWAYS IMPROVEMENT FUND
RESOURCES AVAILABLE, ACCOUNT NO. 144-888-541-
99C TO EAST -WEST CONNECTR RD - NW 67TH
STREET, ACCOUNT NO. 144-888-541-6FB, PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
P_RQVIDIN_G_AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager, Public Works Director
and City Engineer to enter into an agreement with Carr Smith Associates to provide
engineering services for the proposed East-West Connector Road (NW 67th Street)
from Nob Hill Road to proposed Hiatus Road in Land Section 7.
WHEREAS, funding for this project be approved from the Trafficways
Improvement Fund Resources Available, Account No. 144-888-541-99C for
$47,453.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deem it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to enter into an
agreement with Carr Smith Associates to provide engineering services for the proposed
design of the East-West Connector Road (NW 67th Street) from Nob Hill Road to
proposed Hiatus Road in Land Section 7; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
Section 2: The appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized to execute Work
Order No 2, attached hereto as Exhibit " 1 ", with Carr Smith Associates to provide
engineering services for the East-West Connector Road (NW 67th Street) from Nab Hill
Road to proposed Hiatus Road in Land Section 7.
Section 3: Funding for the project is approved from Trafficways Improvement Fund
Resources Available, Account No. 144-888-541-99C, to East-West Connectr Rd,
Account No. 144-888-541-6FB for $47,453.
Section 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.

Section 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
adoption.
