CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-95- � I r
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, APPOINTING EIGHT (8)
OR MORE REGULAR AND UP TO FOUR (4)
ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE VETERANS AFFAIRS
COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of appointing regular and alternate
members to the Veterans Affairs Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "Whereas" clause is hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That pursuant to Section 2-223 of the Code, the following persons
are HEREBY APPOINTED as regular members of the Veterans Affairs Committee for
terms beginning December 1, 1995 and expiring December 1, 1996, or until such time
as reappointments are made:
Norman Blau
Herbert Hayes
Murray M. Schulmann
Martin Sucoff
Harry Cohen
David Kalman
Evelyn Schwartz
Joseph G. Van Wagner
Eugene Coyne
Murray Nathanson
Hyman Sklar
Nora Gould
SECTION I That pursuant to Section 2-226 of the Code, the following persons
are HEREBY APPOINTED as alternate members of the Veterans Affairs Committee

for terms beginning December 1, 1995 and expiring December 1, 1996, or until such
time as reappointments are made:
No alternate members were appointed.
SEQTIQN 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution
is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
