A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
A TORO WORKMAN UTILITY VEHICLE WITH OPTIONS
#41150-PA-17 SPREADER/TOPDRESSER, #41252 PA-17
SPREADER FRAME KIT, #07301 FULL FLATBED, #07302
FULL FLATBED SIDE KIT INCLUDING TAILGATE, #07402
AUXILARY POWER UNIT, #07404 APU ELECTRIC CLUTCH,
#07416 HAND THROTTLE/GOVERNOR CONTROL, #87-
5410 TACHOMETER/SPEEDOMETER AND #92-1295 SEAT
BELT KIT FROM HECTOR TURF COMPANY, UTILIZING
NON APPROPRIATED FUNDS FEDERAL SUPPLY
SCHEDULE CONTRACT F41999-91-D-6079 APPROVING
FUNDING FROM ACCOUNT 001-555-572-643 ENTITLED
"MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT"; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Hector Turf Company is the authorized Toro distributor for Southeast
Florida; and
WHEREAS, Hector Turf Company has offered to extend the terms and conditions
of the Non Appropriated Funds Federal Supply Schedule Contract #F41999-91-D-6079
to the City; and
WHEREAS, City Code §6-155 allows the waiver of formal contract procedures for
all supplies, material and equipment, which are the subject of contracts with the United
States Government; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to approve the
purchase of a Toro Workman Utility Vehicle from Hector Turf Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
SECTION 2: That purchase of a Toro Workman Utility Vehicle with aforementioned
options is HEREBY AWARDED to Hector Turf Company.
SECTION 3: Funding for the purchase is budgeted under Account 001-555-572-
643 entitled "Machinery and Equipment" at a total cost of $15,910.13.

SECTION 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
