CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-95-43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF
BUILDING INSPECTOR AND BUILDING INSPECTOR/PLANS
EXAMINER TO ATTEND THE 43RD ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL
CONFERENCE FOR THE BUILDING OFFICIALS
ASSOCIATION OF FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE:
WHEREAS, the Building Officials Association of Florida (BOAF) is the state organization
that provides education for Building Officials, and Inspectors through its annual Conference; and
WHEREAS, the Conference is in Altamonte Springs on April 30 to May 3, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Inspector, John Brandt and Building Inspector/Plans
Examiner, Allen Blumenfeld have requested permission to attend at a total cost estimated to be
$1,432.80; and
WHEREAS, the Building Official recommends their attendance; and
WHEREAS, it is important that the City employees in the field of inspections attend and
receive required continuing education points; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that Mr. Brandt and Mr.
Blumenfeld be permitted to attend.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Resolution.

SECTION 2: That the recommendation of the City Manager is hereby approved.
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application,
it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
