CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-95-1!94
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF
ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR TO ATTEND THE 65TH ANNUAL
STATE CODE SEMINAR FOR THE INTERNATIONAL
ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL INSPECTORS; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
PROVIDM FQR AN EFFECTIVE DATE:
WHEREAS, the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) is the state
organization that provides education for Electrical Inspectors through its Annual State Code
Seminar; and
WHEREAS, the Seminar is in Sarasota on May 11 to May 13, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Electrical Inspector, has requested permission to attend at a total
cost estimated to be $681; and
WHEREAS, the Building Official recommends his attendance; and "
WHEREAS, it is important that the City employees in the field of inspections attend and
receive required continuing education points; and '
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that Mr. Kiel' ' 6 permitted to

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing WHEREAS clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of the Resolution.

SECTI,Q.N 2: That the recommendation of the City Manager is hereby approved.
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in park or application,
it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
