CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R 95- 9 30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE RENTAL OF
UNIFORMS FOR ALL DESIGNATED PERSONNEL FROM
WARREN UNIFORM COMPANY UTILIZING THE CITY OF
SUNRISE BID NUMBER 28-02-06-25-92(69), FOR A TOTAL
COST NOT TO EXCEED $27,000; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, The City of Tamarac must provide all designated personnel with
uniforms as stipulated in the Federation of Public Employees Contract, Article 30.1; and
WHEREAS, The City of Sunrise awarded bid number 28-02-06-25-92(69) to Warren
Uniform Company; and
WHEREAS, Warren Uniform Company has offered to extend the same prices and
conditions set forth in the City of Sunrise Bid to the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, City Code §6-154 allows the Purchasing Officer the authority to join
with other units of government in cooperative purchasing when the best interest of the City
would be served; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to authorize the rental
of uniforms from Warren Uniform Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
Section ion 2: The rental of uniforms IS HEREBY APPROVED to be purchased from
Warren Uniform Company in accordance with the terms and conditions of the City of
Sunrise Bid #28-02-06-25-92(69).
Section 3: Funding for this purchase is available from various accounts under object
code 476 entitled "Uniforms and Accessories."
Section 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application,
it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
Section 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
