CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94- ZOO
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
TAMARAC TO PAY EACH NON -BARGAINING CITY
EMPLOYEE THE SUM OF $400.00; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Tamarac City Council hereby agrees that inasmuch as
City employees have not received a Cost of Living increase since October
1, 1992, that all
employees
not covered
by a bargaining agreement be
given a one-time
payment of
$400.00, said
payment to be given to current
employees of record on October 1, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clause is hereby
ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a
specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2:
That the
appropriate City
Officials
of
the
City of
Tamarac are hereby
authorized
to pay the sum of
$400.00
to
each
current
City employee of record on October 1, 1993 not covered by a bargaining
agreement.

SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4:
If
any
clause, section, other part or application
of
this Resolution is
held
by
any court of competent jurisdiction to
be
unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
