A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC APPOINTING SEVEN (7) MEMBERS TO THE
TAMARAC PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD;
APPOINTING A CHAIRPERSON OF THIS BOARD;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing seven
members to the Parks and Recreation Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clause is hereby ratified
and confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific
part of this Resolution.
That pursuant to Section 15-43 of the Code, the
following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as members of the Parks and
Recreation Board for terms to expire June 20, 1995:
Lester Barr
Beverly Hess
Hank Schumann
Jerry Blackmore Irving R. Cooper
Bernard James Melvin Koenig
SECTION 3: That Bernard James is hereby appointed as
Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Board.

SECTION 4: All resolutions
or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court
of competent jurisdiction to be
unconstitutional or invalid, in part
or application, it shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
EC,T,I,ON 6: This Resolution
shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
