CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94-139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC APPOINTING EIGHT (8) OR MORE REGULAR
AND UP TO FOUR (4) ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE
VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of appointing regular and
alternate members to the Veterans Affairs Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
5ECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clause is hereby ratified
and confirmed as being true and correct and is hereby made a specific
part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That pursuant to Section 2-223 of the Code, the
following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as regular members of the
Veterans Affairs Committee for terms to expire June 20, 1995:
Abraham Blank
Nora F. Gould
Irving Schlessinger
Hyman Borger
Harry May
Murray M. Schulman
Harry Cohen
Jack Slutsky
SECTION 3: That pursuant to Section 2-226 of the Code, the
following persons are HEREBY APPOINTED as alternate members of the
Veterans Affairs Committee for terms to expire June 20, 1995.

SECTION 4: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

or application
of
this
Resolution . is held
by
any court of
competent
jurisdiction
to
be
unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SEQIIQN 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of June,1994.
