CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ATTEND THE INTERNATIONAL CITY/COUNTY
MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (ICMA) 80TH ANNUAL
CONFERENCE, IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS ON SEPTEMBER 18-
21, 1994, PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents of
the City of Tamarac to authorize continuing education for the City
Manager of the City of Tamarac.
WHEREAS, the conference this year is in Chicago, Illinois on
September 18-21, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager Robert S. Noe, Jr. believes it to be in
the City's interest that he attend the ICMA Conference, the cost of
which is estimated to be One Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Seven
Dollars ($1,587.00); and
WHEREAS, this cunference is in accordance with Section 9 of
Resolution 94-34 City Manager Appointment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION iffhat the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby
ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made
a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is authorized to attend the
International City & County Management Association (ICMA)
Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
SECIION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION AN If any clause, section, other part or application of
this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be
unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
