CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94- /S4
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A WARRANTY BOND POSTED BY
WESTLAKE VILLAS, INC. FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AT THE
WESTLAKE VILLAS, AKA SPRING LAKE II NORTH PROJECT;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Westlake Villas, Inc as Principal, with Westchester Fire Insurance
Company, as Surety, has filed with the City Letter of Credit No. MS00052558 in the
amount of $72,873.25 for public improvements for the project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended release of said warranty
band; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interests of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to release this
warranty bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Letter of Credit No. MS00052558 posted by Westlake Villas,
Inc., as Principal, with Westchester Fire Insurance Company, as Surety, in the amount
of $72,873.25 for pubic improvements for the Westlake Villas project, is HEREBY
RELEASED.

SECTION 2: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3: If any clause, section, or other part or application of this
Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or
invalid, in part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or
applications of this Resolution.
Section 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
