RESOLUTION NO. R-94-&
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
HYDRAULIC SEWER CLEANER, BID # 93-11; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County, Florida, on October 20, 1993 and October 27,
1993; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on November 8, 1993; and
WHEREAS, U. S. Jetting Corporation, is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of U.S. Jetting Corporation, in
the amount of $27,843.00 for the purchase of a hydraulic
sewer cleaner to be used for cleaning sewer lines, relieving
blockages and other related tasks in the Unity and Public
Works Divisions, in HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the funds are to come from Account #425-
367-565-643 entitled Machinery and Equipment.
SECTION_3: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
in connection with the awarding of the bid.
SECTION 4: This bid shall become effective seventy-two
(72) hours after the adoption of this Resolution.
SECTION 5: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 6: If any clause, section, other part or
application of this Resolution is held by any court of
competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in
part or application, it shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.

SECTION 7: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
