CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94-, /7!?
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
OFFICIALS TO AWARD THE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF
THE WATER TREATMENT LIME SLUDGE, BID NO. 94-10
TO DRD ENTERPRISES IN THE AMOUNT OF $62,400;
APPROVING FUNDING FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 425-363-
533-316 "SLUDGE REMOVAL EXPENSE"; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel,
newspapers of general circulation in Broward County, Florida on Saturday, July 2, 1994,
and Monday, July 11, 1994, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Monday, August 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, DRD Enterprises is the lowest fully responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Public Services Director and the
Purchasing Officer that this bid be awarded to DRD Enterprises.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed
as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the bid of DRD Enterprises for the removal and disposal of the
Water Treatment lime sludge in the amount of $62,400, for Fiscal Year 1995, is hereby
approved.

SECTION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is
held by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this
Resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
