CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R 94- a. 7/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR TRACT 27 FROM PARK
STRUCTURES, INCORPORATED UTILIZING VOLUSIA
COUNTY BID NUMBER 94-B-06 FOR $27,091,APPROVING
FUNDING FROM ACCOUNT 142-888-572-63B, ENTITLED
"SPORTS COMPLEX, TRACT 27", PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida deems it to be in
the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Tamarac to approve the
purchase of Playground Equipment for Tract 27 from Park Structures Incorporated, and
WHEREAS, Volusia County Bid Number 94-B-06 was awarded to Park Structures
Incorporated for the contract price of $27,091, and
WHEREAS, City Code§6-154 allows the Purchasing Officer the authority to join with
other units of government in cooperative purchasing when the best interest of the City
would be served; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of The Parks and Recreation Operations
Manager and the Purchasing Officer, that the purchase be awarded to Park Structures
Incorporated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this resolution.
Section,Z That the purchase of Play Ground Equipment a total cost of $27,091,
IS HEREBY APPROVED to be purchased from Park Structures Incorporated.

Section 3: Funding for the purchase is budgeted under Account 142-888-572-63B,
entitled "Sports Complex Tract 27".
Section 4: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5: If any clause, section, other part or application of this Resolution is held
by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application,
it shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applications of this Resolution.
Section 6: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
