CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA APPROVING THE CITY
MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT OF STANLEY D. HAWTHORNE
AS FINANCE DIRECTOR, EFFECTIVE MARCH 24, 1994;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, the City Charter, Section 5.04(a) provides that th,
City Manager "shall appoint and supervise the heads of al,
departments... subject to the approval of the majority of thi
Council..."; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Manager that
Stanley D. Hawthorne be appointed Finance Director, effectiv(
March 24, 1994.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florid
deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and resident:
of the City of Tamarac to approve the City Manager's appointment
of Stanley D. Hawthorne as Finance Director, effective March 24,
1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECT_JQN 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses ar
hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and ar
hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That on recommendation of the City Manage
that Stanley D. Hawthorne be appointed Finance Director, effectiv
March 24, 1994.
SECJION 3: All resolutions or parts of resolutions i
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of suc:
conflict.
