A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
5 OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
FIREWORKS BY GRUCCI FOR THE JULY 4TH
6 CELEBRATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
7 EFFECTIVE DATE.
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida,
9Jeems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents
1Q)f the City of Tamarac to have an enjoyable July 4th Celebration;
13a nd
12 WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of having a July 4th
13Clebration with a fireworks display; and
14 WHEREAS, the following vendors submitted the following quotes
15f r providing a fireworks display:
16 1. Zambelli - $ 9,215.00
17 2. Grucci -- 9,000.00
3. Pyrotecnics - 9,700.00
1 W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
1 TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
20 SECTIQN1:_ That the appropriate City officials are hereby
21 authorized to execute an Agreement with Fireworks by Grucci for

e July 4th Celebration in the amount of $9,000.00, a copy of
23s id Agreement being attached hereto as "Exhibit 1".

SECTION 2: That the funds are to come from Account No. 001-
25 50-572-481, entitled Recreation Activities.

SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
27 conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
28 conflict.

SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or application
30 f this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction
31 o be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it
32 hall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or
33
applications of this Resolution.

FIREWORKS BY
FIREWORKS DISPLAY CONTRACT
ADDENDUM
This Service Agreement outlines the support services necessary to successfully produce your
City Class fireworks program for the City of Tamarac on July 4, 1994 as follows:
I. Production expenses including transportation of personnel, fireworks and equipment,
Insurance coverage, and Grucci payroll to set and strike are: $ 3,000.00.
2. The Fireworks Display Contract for 1994 $ 7,000.00 less the Grucci Family Discount
of $1,000.00 plus the above production expenses, for a Grand Total of $ 9,000.00 as
per invoice # 003652.
Please sign both the Fireworks Display Contract and this Addendum, return all copies with
deposit to us, and we will return the signed copies for your file.
NOTE - Insurance for your fireworks program is validated only upon our receipt of the
above mentioned copies.
