CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-94-__L7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA ,APPROVING A
WAIVER TO THE SIGN CODE REQUESTED BY
CAREERS USA FOR A WALL SIGN LOCATED AT
3197 COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD, TAMARAC;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, Careers USA has requested a waiver from Code Chapt4
18 governing signs; and
WHEREAS, the Building official reviewed said waiver; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac, Florida
deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens and residents
of the City of Tamarac to grant this waiver.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 'F
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the waiver to the Sign Code Chapter 8
requested by Careers USA for a wall sign allowing for slant d
Italic lettering style for the word "Careers" and allowing straiglit
Helvetica style letters for the initials "USA," located at 31 7
Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby approves the si n
waiver request subject to the following conditions:

SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of s
conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, ether part or applicati n
of this Resolution is held by any court of competent jurisdiction
to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or application, it shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions or applicati ns
of this Resolution.
