RESOLUTION NO. R-94-._..L.:L
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA TO APPROVE TAMARAC
RESIDENT MAXWELL INGRAM'S REQUEST FOR A BRONZE
NAME PLAQUE TO REPLACE THE EXISTING NAME PLATE
PLAQUE ON THE TAMARAC SPORTS COMPLEX
CONCESSION STAND; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE T
WHEREAS, on August 26, 1993 at a Special City Council
meeting, the City Council authorized "the installation of a plaque
at the Tamarac Sports Complex indicating participation of Max
Ingram"; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1993, a name plate was installed or.
the Tamarac Sports Complex Concession Stand directly under the
building dedication plaque; and
WHEREAS, the name plate sign reads, "Maxwell Ingram, PE"; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ingram has requested the City Council tc
reconsider and upgrade the name plate sign to a bronze sign tc
read, "Maxwell Ingram, PE, Consulting Engineer, Sportslighting and
Electrical Systems"; and
WHEREAS, on January 20, 1994, Mr. Ingram requested that the
City Council reconsider his request; and
WHEREAS, at the January 26, 1994 City Council meeting, the
City Council addressed Mr. Ingram's request and advised that the
sign was adequate and no additional signage would be installed;
and
WHEREAS, at the April 27, 1994 City Council meeting and th
May 2, 1994 Special Council meeting, Mr. Ingram requested the Cit
Council to reconsider his sign request; and
WHEREAS, at the May 2, 1994 Special Council Meeting, th
Tamarac City Council passed a motion to schedule Mr. Ingram'
request for City Council discussion at the next City Counci

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" Clauses are
hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are
hereby made
77a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTI„Q 2: That the City Council of the City of Tamarac
hereby approves Maxwell Ingram's request for a bronze name plaque
to replace the existing name plate plaque on the Tamarac Sports
Complex Concession Stand.
SECTION 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
SECTION 4: If any clause, section, other part or
application of this Resolution is held by any court of competent'
jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, in part or
application, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions or applications of this Resolution.
EECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
