RESOLUTION NO. R-93- `0
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR PURCHASE OF
TWO (2) MOBILE 60KW A/C EMERGENCY GENERATORS,
TAMARAC UTILITIES WEST PROJECT NO. 92-11, BID
#92-26; AND__P_ROVIDIIIG AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County,
Florida, on Wednesday, December 9, 1992, Wednesday, December 16,
1992, Sunday, December 20, 1992 and Sunday, December 27, 1992; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Wednesday, December 30, 1992; and
WHEREAS, TAW Power Systems is the lowest fully responsive and
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of TAW Power Systems, in the amount of
$38,953.00 for purchase of two (2) mobile 60kw A/C Emergency
Generators, Tamarac Utilities West Project No. 92-11, Bid #92-26,
is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION2: That the funds are to come from Account
#425--367--535-643, entitled Standby Electric Generators.
SECTION 3: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to execute any and all contract documents in connection
with the awarding of this bid.
SECTION 4, This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
