CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-93-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE EQUIVALENT
RESIDENTIAL UNIT (ERU) FOR A STORMWATER
MANAGEMENT UTILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, Florida, has determined
the need to establish an Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU)
for the stormwater management utility to determine a mean
statistical average impervious area for residential, single
family property per unit with the City.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, has by adoption of Ordinance No. 0-93-24 directed
that it is necessary to set for the stormwater management
utility an Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The following Equivalent Residential Unit is
adopted as being the official statistical average of
impervious area for residential property per single family
unit of 1,830 square feet within the City.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall remain in force and
effect until supplemented, amended, repealed or otherwise
altered.
SECTION 3: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict with the Resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
