A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE MONTHLY, FEE TO
S BE PAID FOR A STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
UTILITY; ESTABLISHING A PETITION FEE FOR
ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac, Florida has determined the
need to establish a monthly fee for residential, non
residential, and undeveloped property to pay for the
stormwater management utility based on a mean statistical
average -impervious area for residential single family
property units within the City.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, has by adoption of Ordinance No. 0-93-24 directed
directed that it is necessary to set stormwater management
utility fee rates by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The following fee rate is adopted as being
the official fee for one Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU)
which is $2.00 per month.
SECTION 2: The following fee rate is adopted as being
the official fee for undeveloped property which is $3.18 per
acre, or fraction thereof.
SECTION 3: A fee of $50.00 shall be charged for the
purpose of administrative expenses incurred by the City in
the processing of a petition for appeal of discontinuance of
utility services.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall remain in force and
effect until supplemented, amended, repealed are otherwise
altered.

SECTION 5: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict with the Resolution are hereby repealed.
*SECTION 6: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
