CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-93- 439
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
REQUESTED BY UNIVERSITY 7710 DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, INC., LOCATED SOUTH OF NORTHWEST 71
COURT ON THE WEST SIDE OF UNIVERSITY DRIVE, CASE
NO. 27-Z-93; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 24 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by
adhering to strict application thereof, and further provides that
the waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at University Medical Center;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this application;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of University 7710
Development Corporation, Inc., to allow a reduction of required
spaces from 217 to 210 for University Medical Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by University 7710
Development Corporation, Inc. to permit a limited parking waiver to
allow a reduction of the required spaces from 217 to 210 for the
University Medical Center, located south of Northwest 71 Court on
the west side of University Drive, Case No. 27-Z-93 is HEREBY
APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the -
public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
