CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-93-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR PAVER
INSTALLATION ON UNIVERSITY DRIVE, BID 093-05;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERA ILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DLTZ,
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun
Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County,
Florida, on September 29, 1993 and October 6, 1993; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on October 15, 1993; and
WHEREAS, Italian American Pavers and Demolition, is the
lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION_.: That the foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are
hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are
hereby made a specific part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2: That the bid of October 15, 1993 in the amount
of $ 31,485.00 for the installation of pavers on University Drive
is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION_ : That the funds are to be allocated from:
(1) FDOT Pavers Grant Account #153--071-539-4RG
(2) and transfer of $11,485 from Non -Departmental Matching
Grants Account #001-872-519-830.
SECTION 5; That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to execute any and all contract documents in connection
with the awarding of the bid.
This Resolution shall become effective
